I first bought the condensed I&T manual off Ebay to get the specs for valve adjustment etc. The I&T manual is excellent. It is intended for the experienced mechanic and in addition to specifications has the details for topics that are uniquely Yanmar. One example would be how to see if the Thermostart meets spec by testing it in a pan of boiling water. But if you don't do your own work then the Operation Manual should be all you need.
Later I bought the YM240 (YM2000) Service Manual. I found it is intended for the dealer and covers major repair that a typical owner would have done by a shop instead of doing at home. I look in it to satisfy my curiosity but I don't remember needing any project so complex that I had to look it up in the Service Manual before just doing it.
Buy the Service Manual if you break the tractor and need to do a major repair yourself. Before that, it's only nice to have, to understand how things work.
The Operation Manual covers issues like coolant change that are normally done by the owner. This plus the I&T manual (for specifications) should be sufficient to maintain a working tractor.
