I wonder who they include in 'existing Yanmar customers'.

I received a flyer in the mail yesterday from Yanmar, they are offering rebate discounts up to $5K for existing customers, plus free loader deals.

Now, if they would extend that offer to new customers, I know who would buy an YT359........

The mailing list was U.S. warranty-registered Yanmar product owners mainly from purchases during the last 6 to 7 years. Some warranty-registered owners could be missed for a few different reasons. For example, if they have moved and the post office forwarding order expired some years ago.

My three JD tractors all have Yanmar engines,,,, I wonder if I qualify??

I just configured and priced new YT347 and YT359 ROPS tractors with loaders on the Yanmar website. $39K and $41K MSRP respectively with a $4600 rebate, so we're looking at mid-thirties before any negotiations at the dealership.

Two rear remotes standard.

Hmmm.....47hp or 59hp....that is the question...

Out of curiosity, I did a dealer search for my zip code. There are 2 Yanmar dealers close by.
I called the nearest one and asked about the YT235. It is 34.2hp, similar hp as the Kubota B3350. And as far as I could tell, no epa do-dads.
I ask the person on the phone if they had a YT235. Didn't have one in stock.

So, how does Yanmar reach TIER4 on there tractors above 27hp?

Good Question. I don't have an answer off the top of my head. Maybe Yanmar Tractor will chime in with an answer re the emissions equipment on the new YT series tractors.

I do know that some Mahindra's pass tier 4 emissions without the use of regen filters.

I'll have to research it more closely.

The YT-235 does have a regen filter system, if that is what you are asking. Mine "kicked in" at 34 hours and runs about 30 minutes. Tractor is still operable while it does the regen. Geo
