Yanmar Turf Tire Package for YM1601D Question

/ Yanmar Turf Tire Package for YM1601D Question #11
I have them....had to have them. I do not farm and the Ag tires will dig to China. 50% of the time or more I am running over a lawn. However I have a very steep hill - almost 40 degrees that leads to most of my land which is heavily wooded and a small pond. I need traction big time down there. So I went with the turfs and loaded my rear tires with Rim Guard. I also run all year long rear chains. They do not rip up the lawn but provide me more traction in the wet and rocky areas where I am dragging rocks and trees/firewood up my hill. Last spring I used a box blade to drag for dirt and I felt it worked well although the turf can clog with mud pretty easily but thats where the chains really help out. I was even thinking about adding chains to my front tires for special circumstances only

Scotty,

Could you tell me what the brand and size of the tires are that came with the kit(front and rear)? I have a 2210 that takes the same kit from Hoye. I have a buddy in the tire biz and think i could do better through him rather than shipping from Texas. Also if you knew the offset of the wheels that would be great!!

Hey Todd - I did get you email and responded but it doesn't look like it went through to you.

In any event, When I was looking I ordered from Hoye but they couldn’t get the tires so I had to source them myself. Bought the rims from Hoye because I wasn't about to screw up the back spacing with my own measurements!

The rears on mine are Carlisle 13.6-16 - they are great and I have them loaded with rim guard and keep 4 link chains on them year round. The fronts are multi trac G/S 24 X 8.50 - pretty sure they are also Carlisle's. I think I got them directly from Hoye on the rims but the rears were very hard to find at the time. I ended up googling the 13.6-16 and found them at a place called Pete's Tire Barn with locations in the Northeast. IIRC, Hoye shipped the rims to them and they mounted and filled them for me.

Not exactly sure off the offset, but can measure for you this weekend.
