I just bought a used one in Jan. A friend's used equipment book listed low end at $4500, Average at $5800, and Good at around $6500. These may be off a couple hundred, but they're in the ballpark.

I would imagine that a new FEL would go for about $2000 or so and a decent belly mower no less than $500-750.

After owning a 180D for a couple of months, my opinion is that you go a good deal!!!

I'd agree with those prices except the FEL is a little on the low side. . Around here a guy might get a home-built loadermade and mounted for $2K...though I've never seen it happen. Any FEL that has a manufacturer's name on it is going to be at least $3000 by the time it is on the tractor and working right.

If a new FEL is $3000, then I know you got a good deal!!!
I just spent all day on mine using a blade and dirt scoop. Switching back and forth is a pain. What I wouldn't give for your FEL about now!!!!!

I might be in the minority, but most all of the work done with my compact is done with the FEL. If it didn't have the FEL, we would be kind of lost. Mine is used more like a vestpocket construction machine rather than as a small pulling tractor. So instead of the FEL being one more tractor attachment, the tractor itself becomes a platform for operating a FEL. It hs a 3pt hitch of course, and other things can be hitched to the back or powered by the PTO. But basically the tractor's job is the front end loader.
