Yard trailers - what have you got?

Plumbstraight, I think you've posted that before. I still think it's one of the coolest designs for an ATV trailer/log arch I've ever seen.

I use a Lowes camo trailer 5x8. Mostly for brush. With its ramp I can load up a mower if I need to. The truck can take it on the road -but mostly just use the tractor.

Here’s mine, it’s about 4.5’ x 9’ big enough to haul standard 4x8 sheets of plywood. I built it myself using northern tool running gear and pressure treated deck. Sides are removable for bulky objects.

It works well but the only down side, as others have mentioned, is that it’s impossible to back it like a single axle trailer. If I had to do it again I’d probably go with a single axle and move it with a ball hitch on the 3pt.

Difficult yes, impossible no. Not that long ago,all farm trailers were like that. Many still are. I was around 10 when I finally mastered backing them.

Much easier to back a wagon with a front hitch :D:

The other big upside to those is you can tow several of them at a time and they will all track one right behind then other.

Single axle trailers not exactly tracking one right behind the other, but close enough to get around :D.

I built the above one about 25 years ago. I use it to haul the ATV among other things but I also pull it around the yard with the ATV.

I built this one 5 to 10 years ago, it is only pulled by the ATV. I use the winch on the back of the ATV to dump it.

These military trailers are great. Pintle hitch offers great off-road articulation. Easy to dump. Both surge and mechanical brakes. $500 and came with sideboards, bows and canvas cover. I added the lights. Buy mulch in bulk and distribute where I need it. Haul brush or rocks.
