Sorry - done a bit of searching, cant quite find an answer to my question...

I have a F22D (new to me as of yesterday) and I am transplanting my loader onto it.

From my research, there appears on some FX series to be a pre-plumbed hose(s). Mine doesnt have this.

I do have a small lever under the seat, which when moved to one end, the 3ph rises at full speed, at the other slows or stops (I cant quite remmeber) with a wing nut to fix it in place.

The high pressure line comes into a block with the above mentioned lever on it, basically under my seat. There is the hydraulic lock knob between my feet, and a tapping visible above it. Removing seat and bodywork allows me to see the block, and I can just make out at the front 'OUT' on the right side, and theres something, but I cant read it - at the back on the right - could be IN - could be a manufacturers symbol. There are two tappigns on the side. There looks like two more at the front.

Some of the older manuals show to use a blanking plug to force the fluid round the extra tapings hols - but I did find a post that suggested the under seat lever did the same thing.

Any tips?

Thanks

Guy

when you say under the seat, do you mean a lever that follows a 1/2 circle? if so your are plumbed and should have lines under the right floor.

almost - the lever you can see does a straight line back and forth, but it turns a tiny bar on top of the hydraulic block about 90 degrees.

There are no pipes under the right foot plate.

do you have power steering.

I have never seen a f series with power steering that did not have the hyd conections underneath the rt foot floorboard. I wonder if some one took them off. I am not at home so I can't check where mine come off of.

Why don't you try to pm tractor ernie. He has gone thru a lot of f and fx series tractors and may be able to help you out.

Can you take a picture of the lever under the seat? the one I am talking about can be found by tilting the seat forward. it then should be on the right hand side of that area just under the seat. it is used to divert the hydraulics from the plumbing.

keep us posted.

Thanks runningbird - the lever you mention sounds right - its on the RHS of the area under the seat - its quite small. Where exactly are the pipes on yours - are they attached to the footboard, or the transmission or what?

I'll take a picture of the seat area, the hydraulic block and under the right foot board in a minute...

OK - heres some pics:-

Heres the valve under the (removed) seat. The bar going 'up' in the picture is the one that goes to the under seat lever with a wing nut on it.

The lare bolt head bottom left has 'OUT' written near it. The banjo in the middle is the fluid in from the pump.
