Yellow Cans in OKC?

Yes, I hope we do. Did not mean to offend, just not pleased with all of the plastic on the newer tractors, but most of them have it.

I got one from Walmart and don't think much of it. It "glugs" too much and creates a lot of back pressure, which makes it slower to pour (hard on the arms when lifting at eye level.) Unfortunately, my other one with the little vent (from TSC) has one of those "disappearing" spouts. Everytime you use it, you get diesel all over your fingers, it splatters you as it "ratchets" into place, and it wobbles as you try to get it in the filler neck.

My ideal would be a yellow can with a hard spount and the little vent.

Mark,
Yeah I have a blue can just like yours, don't like the design either.
No way to keep the kersone/diesel off of your fingers and some other things. They always have a bit around the pull out spout which dribbles when you pour.

Seemed like a good idea /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I'll give it the old tryout, if I don't like it, Home Depot will get it back. They do have a good return policy.

Pacesetter,
The cans are ok, not sure where you would find a better one unless you go PRO grade $$$$. They are just not great.

The "console" area, between the footrests is where I always keep a pair of leather work gloves and an automotive style rag. When I remember to use the rag to help extend the spout, my hand stays pretty diesel free. I don't always remember, though.
Yellow would be cool. I have two red 5 gal. plastic fuel containers. With magic marker, one is "gas" and the other "diesel".

The first thing I do with a corrugated pull out spout is toss it in the trash. I go get one of the "twist to shut off" spouts which comes with a clear hose about 8" long and various adapters to fit all cans. They do leak sometimes as well, but it's not all over me.

Markie:

"it gulgs too much".....Sounds like me when I drink a barley morsel. Too bad it ain't been hot enough for that around here yet.

Is that an auto parts store item?

I still like my "large" can better. I have a "small yellow container to fill my pressure washer though.
