Yellow jackets: now is the time to prevent them!

Thanks for the post. Next trip to HD the yellow jackets trap will be on my list.

After reading all this stuff about early catching of the queens, I picked up a trap while I was in the Agway yesterday.
I only got one because it came with "lure", so I don't know if it's the pheremone kind and neither did the store owner.

So, where's the best place to hang these things? I hardly caught any yellowjackets in the traps I had last year, but they were the orange juice/hamburger lure kind.
