I stirred up some yellowjackets mowing my field a week or so ago, but none got me. I mowed the same spot today and didn't see any. I did go pretty fast over that area, since I wasn't in the cab tractor.

Thanks for the responses! I am planning to try the onion trick if it happens again.
It was actually kind of funny; we were standing in our neighbors front yard during a brief
power outage when the attack started, my wife got hit twice and two neighbor ladies got
hit 8-10 times with one having a few crawl up her shorts. For a moment I thought I was
going to see a strip show.
The lady that lives at the house knew they were there but said they had never bothered her.
She had the exterminator out the next day. Crazy dang idjit!
