Yerf-Dog Rover

Anyone have any experience with or know of anyone having experience with the Yerf-Dog Rover ATV? I looked at one the other day and it looked pretty nice for a small utility type vehicle. I don't have need to haul heavy loads, so the overall load rating is not that important. The 2 seat with bed Gator/Mule type configuration would be handy to have. At under $4K, it is quite a bit less expensive than a Gator or Mule. I think these are fairly new?? so there may not be much history on them.

I looked at the Yerf-Dog at Sam's club. I didn't like the chain and sprocket drive. You might want to look at the new John Deere CS gator. They had them at the NY Farm show last weekend, and I believe they were on sale for around $4500. They're built for lighter duty than a standard gator, but I think they still spec out as well or better than a Yerf-Dog. $500 is a small price to pay for Deere's service and parts availability.

I looked at the Yerf Dog at Sams and in looks impressive. However, I did not like the chain and sprocket set-up. It I better than the belt system used by the pro hauler however, not inferior to the shaft used on the gator. I believe the JD utility under the gator cs/cx is also shafted from trany to wheels.

I e-mailed YerfDog to find out what engine they use. They said it was an Agean engine if I remember correctly. The only thing I could find using Google and searching for Agean was a company in India. It did not specifically say they made such engines. I decided not to buy one due to concerns about repairs and parts.
