I believe there is some confusion here.

Yes, the 24D literature confirms 750 lbs. It is confusing the way they list it on the NH website. My literature for the 7308 shows a lift capacity of 875 lbs. So the way I see it, the 7308 is rated for an additional 125 lbs. of lift.

I have a Long 4-in-1 bucket on my 1520 with a 7108 loader. This is probably more comparable to the 24D than the 29D. The 1520 is only 23 Hp. I may lose a little lift capacity with the 4-in-1, but it will still lift a full bucket of gravel or a 12 foot long railroad tie. As far as I am concerned, the extra utility of the 4-in-1 is well worth a small loss in lifting capacity. I love it /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

The only time I have run out of lift capacity is when I add the pallet forks out in front of the bucket. The forks are really heavy, and I can load them to the point that the loader won't lift them. The only thing that would solve that problem is a larger tractor -- it is always possible to overload the loader, but it doesn't happen often enough to be a problem for me.

Not sure about the grapple. Would love to have one for brush, but some of them seem to be very heavily constructed -- maybe too much for my little machine. (Which, by the way is perfectly sized for all my other uses /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).
