Congratulations on the new tractor.
Unfortunately with all the mud up here in New Hampshire mine looks more brown than blue these days. It'll be bath time on sunday.
Good luck,
Peter

Congratulations on the new tractor. Looks good and what a beautiful background that is on your first picture. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I admit the headlights aren't the most attractive looking but, they have started to grow on me and may serve somewhat of a better purpose than last years design. I've done made that decision to purchase one as well because, I'm confident in what this tractor can give me in output of work, easy of use and comfort along with the quality of Blue. Looks can come secondary for me, but they do help. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Again congratulations on your new tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the responses guys. Now to answer a few specific questions:

Golfgar4, that is indeed MY tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. The view is the trade-off for the rock and hillsides. New Holland is welcome to use my photo, but the price would be steep /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.

Horstuff, I got my tractor through A-plan, which is a discount for Ford employees. The total cost without tax was $17,767.

PineRidge, I knew some sharp-eyed individual would catch the fact that the ROPS was down /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I had just taken it out of the shed. And yes, I have already forgetten once to FOLD DOWN the ROPS before backing in /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. As far as Henro, rumor has it he is busy on a new project. He bought one of those PTO pumps and is planning to connect the outlet directly to his ROPS. The next step is to drill 500 small holes in the ROPS to make the worlds largest motorized sprinkler so he can keep his grass watered /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.

MMiller, the NH manual calls those "work" lights and "road" lights. The bottom lights shine straight ahead. The top lights are brighter and shine more to the sides than straight ahead.

Well, it's time for a second cup of coffee. I have about 4 hours of grass cutting to get in before my 10 hour shift tonight. Need to get as much done as possible before the weekend rain /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I hear there is some kind of horse race just down the road Saturday and they don't like it when it rains /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.
