Thanks Eddie. I just milled up 60 1x10’s to wrap the acq posts. Glad I got a sawmill. I priced it out and it would have cost $1800 for the lumber just to wrap posts. Ridiculous. It took me 5hrs and about 6 logs to get the 60 boards milled.

Got some time to work on the place. After a few months of drying I got to use the boards to wrap the posts. Just me, a table saw, circular saw and nail gun. Figured it out to be about 60 saw cuts per posts. It is very rewarding to take a log from a downed tree, skid it to a landing, mill it up, dry it, and shape it to fit your needs.

Just need to stain it to match the rest and bend up some facia trim for the front above the siding.
