Yet another Post Hole Digger support

Mother Nature provided the perfect PHD support for me. All I had to do was provide a chain. Believe it or not hookup is pretty easy. Disconnect is even easier.

That's plastic coated real chain. It works well on cattle gates and cuts down on noise. Not cheap though, $1.76/ft at the local box store.

Maybe get a few feet of coated chain and two clevis hooks/pins to connect to steel chain to $save

Too easy to make. Too portable. Too durable. Cant get no respect. I do mine that way and have never felt guilty about the simple elegant ease of its use. I use a motorcycle cam lock tie down in place of the chain tho.
