Price Check Yet another price check on a TC35DA

I just came from the New Holland Dealer and recieved a qoute.
TC35DA, FEL 16LA, Standard 60" Bucket, R4 tires loaded with Methanol, <free Grill Guard> $21,000. Less $500 if I pay cash.
It's not the cheapest price I've seen but this dealer is 2 miles from my place and I know him personally. And a 6ft Rotary Cutter<Bushog brand> 72" Med Duty Model 286 $1290. However I looked up this Cutter and it states Min. HP as 40hp. What do you folks think?

The price looks reasonable and the dealer is very important. I use a 5' on a case dx35 (same tractor in red). a 6' will depend on what you are cutting and how fast you plan to mow.

It sounds like you have a pretty good deal going. I think I'd make sure to get a QA loader and QA heavy duty bucket. I don't think you'll ever regret the extra $500 that setup will cost you. If you have the cash, then your discount will pay for that.

I also think you will be okay with the 6' rotary cutter. If your grass/brush is high, just overlap more on each pass. If it is not too high, your 6' will work fine. You can always compensate for a wider cutter, but you can't go the other way.
