I have no manual and can't find a website for Curtis.

Now you need to be careful. If you unscrew this right after the pump, then you will probably _need_ to connect the 2 ends as you want to do. If you are unscrewing this between the loader control levers & the loader, you will probably _not_ want them looped together. However, doing it wrong (and do not rely upon my assumptions - just know that it can be done wrong!) can really mess things up - like, serious pump breakage.

If it were me, I would sure want quick disconnects in there, only $20 or so a set, and then you can use other hyd equipment on your tractor when the loader is disconnected. Screwing 2-4 pipes apart each time is _not_ fun, and a person has a tendency not to cap the loader ends which lets oil out, dirt in......

You are absolutely correct. When it was installed, sometime before I owned it, they simply cut one supply line and attached the loader lines. This diverts flow through the loader valves I assume that they provided the other owner with a bypass hose but it didn't get passed on to me.

It is in the shop having a new clutch put in and the shop is going to make me a hose when they take the loader off.
