Still Shoppin'
I stumbled across this site a while back and have been lurking in the shadows for some time absorbing all that I can. I have narrowed my search down to the TC30, 7308 FEL, 4WD, R4's with calcium, 9x3 (I think), and the 758C Backhoe. Was quoted $15,600 for the TC30 and FEL plus an additional $7,000 for the hoe, total price of $22,600 delivered.

There are of course many posts out there about pricing. I tried to give a bit more detail in this one to see what feedback some of you more knowledgeable tractor users can provide.

Tin,

Visit these sites and call these guys: www.corimpco.com or www.tarheeltractor.com

Your price seems way high. I don't know your location but it's
a start in the right direction as far as a realistic price. These
tractors are great but most dealers are blowing them out as they
are considered a bit dated in design and style.

Good luck!

Thanks Tom,

I thought the price seemed high for the 9x3. I thought is was just a little high if it had been an HST. Sure appreciate any feedback you guys (and gals) can provide. I'm going to pull the trigger one way or another in the next few weeks!!

Tin,

As a right of passage I must mention that it
helps to fill out your profile fully. I know it
seems a little invasive but it helps fellow
posters guide eachother.

Posters can direct u to dealers in your area
with the best deals and service.

Welcome to the board!

OK, I give up. I filled out the profile, I'm not exactly in your market area Tom but I appreciate the input.

Tin,

I paid less than that for a TC29D with hydro and super-steer and 7308 loader. Now again area makes a big difference but I would be checking around with other New Holland dealers.

Tom,

Interesting. I contacted both (mainly out of curiousity since shipping 3000 miles is typically a bit expensive). Corimpco was $21,550 and Tarheel was $21,300. Pricing difference of $1,000 to $1,300.

I'll go chat with my dealer a bit and see what we can negotiate.

Another question,

On other sites I participate in (RV.net & Turbodieselregister) there are fairly well known "lowest price" internet dealers that you can contact to get an idea on the lowest possible purchase price. Do those exist in the NH world or are those posted by Tom above a couple of those?

Tin,

With the backhoe in the picture you should be able
to really bargain with your dealer. I would ask for
a free 50 hour svc. I would also look/ask for deals on
implements and maybe even a trailer deal.

Never hurts to ask. Also shop in your surrounding area.
All common sense stuff but it still bares mention.

PS: Just saw an Ad for NH TC30, 4WD, 9X3 manual w/ loader
and backhoe $18,300.00 @ Corriher. They ship nationwide.

Good Luck!

I think if I were shopping for an economy tractor like the TC30, I'd want to know the prices and performance specs of comparable third-party FEL and BH brands: BushHog, Woods, Bradco. You might save a few bucks over the 7308 and 758C.

Just a thought...
