That is the same problem I had with my old Satoh Buck. Never did cure it, just live with it. The charge, oil and temp light stayed on. Had to get a new alternator a year or two ago. Just loaded the whole tractor up and left the trailer at the alt/starter shop. They put something on there that may be comparable. None of the lights work now but it does crank and run. I have a voltmeter and oil gauge on mine that my brother installed. I keep an eye on the overflow pipe for the temp.
