I got my temp gauge mounted, lit up and reading temperature. That metric adapter is a little piece of heaven (thanks for the part number edjones72!). And yes the tape is a must... Are the JD models metric as well?
It took forever (at idle) for the temp to break 100 (or move). It seemed that when I first shut the motor off (coincidence I think) the temp broke 120. Maybe the thermostat finally opened.
I got it up to about 160 and it was pretty cold out and I wasnt really working it hard. I am thinking of backing down my mixture for summer. I may drain/store this as my winter mix?
Thanks ya'll for the help so far.
