YM-2210D PTO cover plate!?!?!😂

Yeah it's the cast PRO cover and PTO unit. It's a big job for someone of my limited mechanical abilities.

I drained it completely and cleaned the filter. I won't re-fill it until the plate is back on.

I'll have another extendable magnet rig this afternoon (along with new cotter pins) and should be able to git er done after work today.....

So did you just swap the whole assembly over or did you take all the gears and bearing off the parts one and put yours back onto the good cover? I would of just swapped assemblies and kept mine for parts if needed.

I just bought the replacement cover. I switched out all the gears.

I got home this afternoon and it took me about 30 minutes to find the pin with the new magnet, get the whole thing back together and filled with fluid, and fire her up.

Unfortunately, it seems like the PTO is stuck in between gears! It grinds when the clutch is let out.

I'm hoping I can rectify it by just taking the hydraulic unit back off (five bolts) and fiddling with the shif linkages from above. No need to drain the fluid if that works.

I appreciate the support from people who know the struggle.....
