YM 336D vs Ford 2600

I had both the 2000 and a 3000 ford, both gas and loved every drop..... my needs are smaller now.. but the 336d 4wd, w p\s ,shuttle and diesel is a great tool to have, very handy and capable as well as economical... compared to the others

is the 2600 a little shirabu made one or similar to the 2000 ford? If you have a ford deisel i would think hard if the 336 has a loader and you have a tiny shirabu ford id trade in a second too!

like the other x600 series.. it's a late 75-81 model for a 2600

I'd take a 3 cyl 'good old ag chassis tractor like that vs a jap subcompact.. ( and i love my yannie.. just saying ).

the 3 cyl engine is a good one.. and you have at least 16ys of near direct engine swap ins from the 2000 and up thru the 3600.

lots of parts swapability in that chassis style too. probably better parts support on that ford counting other modles as donors, than a couple jap subcompact models added together..

i'd take the 2600 myself..

A 336D share a lot of the same parts with my 3110D and a JD 950 and a JD 1050

My 2600 has 2395 hrs and the 336d has 2700 hrs. If my loader off my ym2002d would fit the 336d I would be quicker to trade.

I went to look at the YM336D today. I didn't trade my ford but I did buy the yanmar! May need to ask some questions when I have time to check it out.

That's nothing. Still a good tractor. I mowed my yard with mine yesterday.

I went to look at the YM336D today. I didn't trade my ford . . .

Smart move. Not knocking the YM, but that old Ford is hard to beat. IJS.

It is a good size tractor. Just wish it was 4wd and had a loader. I do have a front dozer blade for it that is handy. My YM2002d is handy but just needs to be a little larger. That's what attracted to the YM336D is the size and the power shift .
