YM135D Air Filter Housing.

I sent e-mails to both the guy in Oregon and Georgia as well as Southern Global. we will see what they say.

I also will be getting my new hood decals printed up from a local sign shop. I couldn't find replacements for the original ones so I used mine as a template and scanned and re-drew them in AutoCAD. They should be exact matches to the originals.

I pulled the front end off last night and got it shot blasted this morning. They will be painted today. The front axle is going to take a bit to clean up before paint.

Got the front end back on except for the axle and driveshaft. Got a busy weekend so probably no more progress for a few days.

The goal is to make it as nice or Better than it was when my grandfather was alive.
Yes it has a belly mower also and a woods back blade. I have not moved the mower to my place yet as I have limited room to tear everything down. It's going to need the spindles rebuilt but is otherwise ok. If I can't find the parts for the rebuild I will have to make new ones myself.

I was thinking the early ym1500 or the other Grey versions with side filters may have the same filter? But I would think Aaron would know. But maybe he just answered that he didn't have one and not let you know which models to look for with one??

The 1500 filter came up 4-5 days ago so my guess was you found one or what you needed with your 135. The 135 with the guy in Ga. was a shot in the dark. I knew the 1500 was one of Fredricks models they sell so they should have it. I've been there and seen all the parts Tractors. That was UTDA days. Wasn't much doubt they have it but just figured you would check with them. Hard to believe they sell the Model but don't have any replacement parts.

I have not found the housing yet. I have sent e-mails to probably 7 or 8 places and only 3 of them even replied. The one craigslist guy Raffi was the only one who had what I was looking for but his looks in worse shape than mine. I was out of pocket for a couple of days so just getting caught up.

Still making progress on the tractor. I got the front axle cleaned,painted and re-installed last night. Also flushed out the engine and transmission before filling with fresh fluids. My decals are done so I'll probably get them Tomorrow as well as take the tins to get a quote on painting those.

None of the grey market models that Im aware of used a pre-cleaner style air cleaner assembly like that. We have lots of the YM1500 filter housings but he said he was looking to keep it original and wanted that original piece which we do not have. It looks like it was only used on the 135 & 155 and it was only offered as an option on those so there are not going to be a lot of them out there.
