Mowing ym1401 belly mower

I need information concerning placing a belly mower on my ym 1401. Is it possible? Where do I find the adapters etc? Have any users ever put a belly mower on the 1401? Any advice will be appreciated. Photos would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance

I recently mounted a YMM45 belly mower on my YM1301D. I got it complete with the electric clutch. It was originally designed to mount on YM135/YM155/YM155D. I had to get a 1" spacer made to go between the crank pully and the stub that mounts to it since the front bumper is 1" further forward relative to the crank pulley. I had to drill some holes in the front bumper and the side frame to mount the clutch and the idler/tensioner assembly. I used the loader frame and made some brackets to mount the deck. Its only 45" wide, but it really works nicely. A 48" deck would easily fit, maybe even a 54", but the 45" works fine for my purposes.

Some day maybe I'll get a digital camera and take some pictures.

Thanks for the reply. These are actually new mowers, still in production? That is actually very good information. In my area, a belly mower is almost required equipment for a tractor the size of the YM1401D. If you have any photos, I'd love to see a few.

These are new mowers. The literature isn't very good. I'll try to get the one I have together & photo it.

One of the dealers has a used Woods 348 which was the original equipment belly mower for the YM169/YM169D. The YM169 is the closest US Yanmar match to your YM1401. He wants $500 for the deck, but it is missing the electric clutch. It is a rear discharge as well. I was going to purchase it, but I don't think it will work on the YM1110D I wanted to put it on. Its just too big. I attached a photo.
