YM2000 noise from PTO lever

Greetings everyone. I have a YM2000 that I purchased 2 years ago. I'm concerned with a new noise coming from the PTO. I was bush hogging some terrain for a couple of hours, when it was time to put the tractor away I noticed that the PTO now made a grinding noise. I also noticed that I can not find the PTO neutral any more. If I press the PTO level towards the gearbox the noise subsides. I added hydraulic oil since it was one mark too low, but the noise did not go away. I was able to put the PTO in "neutral" between the 2nd & 3rd spot. What' going on here?

I can't tell you foor msure what is wrong. Best thing to do is remove the hydraulic lift housing & inspect the pto. It will ahve to be removed to fix it any way.

Remove your implement and see if it was just bound up......Then do like Leonard said!
