I cannot see how diesel can get from a leaking injector into the sump oil, unless the injectors are within the rocker/valve cover. Anyway from past experience, I had a boat engine with a BMC 1800cc about 108 cu inch. and unbeknown to me the rubber diaphragm on the fuel lift pump had a small hole in it. The engine started and run OK, but one day there was that much fuel in the oil and the vapour mix started to blow up the breather into the engine air intake. The engine began to gain speed even though I shut of off the throttle.. The engine was racing away, with me wondering what was going on and unable to shut it down. In the end I realised the only fuel it could be getting was by the breather, so I bust the breather pipe and thankfully she stopped. Leeson learnt, check oil level on a regular basis, and if it seems to be getting more, check for diesel leak.
