Oil & Fuel Ym240 injector washers

Any advice on replacing the washer under the injectors? I can see where the white fiber washer goes on top of the upper chamber, but to put the copper washer under the upper chamber I'll need to pull that piece up, how is that done? I'm going by the diagram on Hoyes site where it says " What's under the injector". Thanks, jbrd

i thought there were copper under the injectors? I think you may have something else on yours, ill look later at mine but sure there is a copper washer under the injector.

I have copper washers under my injectors..

Normally, as long as you have not disturbed the lower chambers you can just leave them alone. If you need to replace the copper washers (because of a leak or something) you will usually have to remove the head & press them out.

Thanks for the replies, The way this ym240 is set up under the injectors is a copper washer with the fiber washer inside of it. I thought this one might have been set up wrong. I'll replace them the way they currently are. Thanks again, jbrd

look at the diagram there is a fiber washer listed in the parts diagram on the injector, although i have no idea how and where your washers are compared to this diagram.
