Okay, the first video showed how I have the loader and 3 point plumbed in.
By the sounds of it, the loader is currently plumbing utilizing the power beyond port, which sounds like I need to add an additional fitting/hose from the 登ut on the loader to the sump.

Second video I have isolated the 3 point. Loader is not hooked up at all. This is the way the tractor was hooked up before which worked 90% of the time Except the one time the 3 point got stuck in the up position, which was what initially sparked this thread at the beginning.
Suddenly it started working fine again, so no further diagnosis was done. Since then I had installed the loader valve and the machine worked properly with the loader installed for about 3 straight hours.
The 3 point lifted and dropped well, the loader operated in all positions well. Until abruptly the 3 point raised, the loader stopped all functions, and the hydraulic pump got extremely hot.

So now that the loader is completely disconnected, and we are working ONLY with the 3 point, I neeed to start to figure out where the 3 point is getting it痴 pressure from.

I relieved the pressure on the 3 point by loosening the high pressure outlet cap and letting the 3 point drop down.
I then removed the two bolts from the control valve. A small bit of residual pressure came out and the 3 point finished dropping. I cranked the engine a few cranks to hopefully flush out any debris, then placed the valve back in, and reinstalled the control valve mounting plate and knob.
Clearly this indicated a blockage somewhere.

Where should I look next??
I ring on the control valve appears intact but will replace anyways since I have it out.

Next I removed the pressure relief valve. Found nothing, then cranked the engine again to flush it out.
Next, I removed the Spool cap and spring.
It appears the Spool is stuck solid. Should this be able to slide out when the cap is removed?!

You cannot use the loader valve with power beyond unless you have purchased the adapter from Hoye.

Yes the spool should come out.

I completely removed the spool housing from the machine so I could take it into the shop
To work on.
I removed the pushrod, cleaned and inspected it. It appeared okay and moved well within its seal.
I then tapped out the spool assembly. Nothing seemed odd with that other that it didn’t remove easily.
Clearly machines surfaces, but I would have expected a little more free movement of the spool within the housing.
Again, having never worked with hydraulics before, I’m not totally sure what is required.

I cleaned the entire assembly including the spool with clean diesel fuel.
reinstalled and hooked up the hydraulic line.
The lever moved the pushrod easily again with the engine off. Before I couldn’t budge that pushrod.
Fires it up and everything is working well again.
I’m not clear as to what the issue was, but appears somehow the spool or pushrod got stuck in the extreme up position.

As far as the power beyond adapter goes, I guess I’ll just leave the loader unhooked for now and order the power beyond adapter from Hoye.
If I understand correctly, I would also need to add a new hose from the output port on the loader valve (currently blocked), which dumps back into the trans.
Am I correct?

Correct, however, many a Yanmar is running without power beyond. You would be perfectly safe to run from outlet to 3 point with the power beyond plugged.

That’s what I see in a couple other threads.
I might just swap the ports used on my valve and see what happens.
I sent a support ticket to Hoye to better clairify the power beyond.
I wish they had sent some actual instructions with the loader valve. Oh well.

Rather crude but it is this simple.

I cannot tell you exactly but can tell you with it in use when using the loader valve the outlet will go straight to the sump and not be restricted by the 3 point. But when using the 3 point the flow will come through the power beyond straight into the 3 point control valve. This will give a little faster loader speed but not a lot. This all based on my experience with my old 2002D that I converted to power beyond.
