Hi everybody, another stupid question, I put a box blade on it the other day and I noticed when I went to hook it up that my lift arms would not go low enough, so I put it on blocks, hooked it up and when I lowered it, it didn't go all the way to the ground,so I moved the top link down from the top hole to about mid way, did some adjusting on the top link and got it to touch in the back, but could never get the front of the box blade all the way on the ground. I need a translated owners manual, I'm guessing if it can it would be in it, but LMTC don't have one,(thanks LMTC) I emailed Hoye at least twice, never get a response from them, so if anyone knows, please let me know how...Thanks Robert

Did you adjust your upper link too?

sorry, missed that the first time I read it. You may have to set your pins higher...........

the box blade only had one set of holes for the pins, I would have to drill new ones, I also forgot to say it was a 4 foot box blade, could that have been the problem,to small, I'm also new to this, /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gifcould that be the problem, /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif LOL. Thanks Robert

On my YM 2310D I had another set of holes on the lower arms near where the sway arms/chains attached. I moved the lift arms to this location so the box blade would lower all the way. This seems to work quite well with all the attachments including the tiller.

No translated manual yet for the 2610. Lift arms generally have two holes....using the hole closest to the tractor to attach the vertical lift arm will allow the lift arm to get closer to the ground. If that is not adequate, your lift arms are likely too short.

Robert,
What email address have you been sending to? Or- if you included a picture, attachment, or a reference to Viagra /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif it may have been sent to the spam folder. We are really having trouble with spam mail lately. We received 8,500 spam emails in September & October alone and are trying to fine tune our email software. We try to check our email at least 10 times a day and respond to every email we get- even if we just say we can't help.

Ditto on the email....I can vouch that it would be very atypical for someone at Hoye to not answer an email. We too have trouble with spam filters, and often a sender's isp will reject our return mail as spam. When we have no phone number, there is nothing we can do and the sender thinks we have simply ignored them.

I know what you are talking about. On my 3110 I had the same problem . I cut and welded in a short piece of metal to extend the arms so that I could connect & disconnect my box blade.

Thanks to all, your right, after I took a good look I found the two other holes /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, now the arms will almost touch the ground, that is why I like this board, you can speak green horn. Aaron the Viagra thing explains it all /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, lol no sorry I didn't realize you got so many emails, but that is why I didn't call, didn't want to tie you up from a paying customer just to ask a stupid question, all I wanted to know if the 2610 manual might be coming soon, or if you could check with your supplier. sorry again Aaron and thanks for the help everybody. Robert

The last request about a 2610 translated manual was back in 2005? Now the year is 2014.

I know of a few good Japaneses engineers where I work. Wonder if getting the Japan manual translated on the side by them could speed things up.
