YM336 specs?

That is one really nice thing about buying used. You can always turn it around and sell it for what you paid +/-.

Its only a foot wider or a bit more so than your 1700 and will pull 6' attachments and its a sister to mine also like kenmac's.

I can attest for the fact it uses very little fuel being as big as they are and being 3 cyl's. That wont be an issue if there is going to be one which I dont see happening.

I think it will serve you well its the right sized tractor for me anyway. I do a lot of stuff with mine, mine is a gray market so far haven't had any problems with parts knock on wood.

You will love the powershift and loader and 4wd.

Watched that -- poor guy! I hadn't been reading that thread. That's painful.

I was hoping to get an idea of size, but in that video it's shooting an a strange angle upward and the hood is also up. So... if anyone has a pic of themselves sitting on a 336 (or similar size) please post. :thumbsup:

YM336D is a great size if you ask me... I did just sell mine (old image above this post, many more in the link in this thread to Picasa: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/yanmar/230126-ym336d-potentially-sale-upstate-ny.html ), but what I am getting is basically the same size. If I had been able to purchase a fully enclosed cab for my YM336D I'd likely still have it (Neither Curtis or Laurin could help). Great tractor. At least on mine the loader came off fairly easily (quick connects and loosening two nuts) and had an integrated stand. I never took it off much though as I found it was nimble enough. As you can see in the images the tires can be set wider.

I actually drove over today (2.5 hours each way) to see the YM336. It wasn't in as good of condition as he intimated, for example, the bucket on the loader was really beat up -- I guess that's why the pictures he showed in the ad were from the side and the back.

Anyway, I decided it was too big and heavy. Compared to my YM1700, it was lumbering beast -- no offense, to those who have them, but I couldn't see myself pulling a mower with it. According to the data I found, the weight comparison is 1800 lbs vs. 3100 lbs for the YM336D (plus the weight of the loader if it's on.) I think I ought to stick with the YM2210D or maybe the YM2310D (2200 lbs and 2125 lbs respectively.) If I wasn't planning to mow my yard (and need to maneuver around some things in the process) it would be awesome to own such a powerful machine as the 336D.

Yep . About 3100 # plus about another 500 or so for loader. 3110D/ 336D. Good machines if you need that much tractor. Sometimes, I want more 40- 50 Hp. But, I have some tight spots on my property that is tough to get the 3110 to
