sure he drove. That was the only reasion it was at the house was for him to dive it. (I made frieds with a crew putting in water pipes down the road)

My little girl asked the other day how roads are built. So I explained things to her. It just so happens that a U Store It place on the way home was expanding and was prepping the site. So I asked her if she wanted to watch and see the compactor working. She had a tough time understanding what the compactor does.

We got lucky and they where running the compactor even though the sun was setting. She really got a big kick when he turned on the vibrator and she could feel it through the ground. If the operator had not been obviously in a hurry I was going to ask for a ride... For the kid of course. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wife took that pic just as I had told him he was going to get to drive it. They were going to let him run their excavator the next day but they had small problen at another job and were not there.
