We just got over a two weeks of bitter cold and today is in the low 60's... darned screen porch is full of flies... where do they come from so quick? Must be 100 flies inside.

Actually, I had planned to go fishing today, but one thing led to another and instead, I mowed, edged, trimmed, and dethatched the lawn, then picked up the clippings with the lawn sweeper, and blew off the sidewalk and driveways with compressed air.

The Texas Parks & Wildlife fishing report is updated once a week and today's the day, but it hasn't been updated yet. A week ago they said the sandies were still in 25-35 feet of water. I'd probably go fishing tomorrow if it weren't for my wife wanting to go to the Dallas RV SuperSale (Market Hall RV show) tomorrow afternoon, so we're supposed to meet my brothers there.

It was 84 degrees here yesterday. But the cold snap a week ago killed the Bell pepper plants we had in the garden from last year.

I think anything below 10 is cold up north but it's the bloody wind that makes it so bad.

An 18 degree day with no wind isn't that bad. Add 20-30mph winds and it just gets nasty.

I got 21 inches of snow last week. Would you believe the wind blew the ground bare in spots.
