What kind of substrate do they have there!?? I wouldn't trust anything resting on posts set into something so soft these guys could drive a 4x4 into it just by dancing a bit.

Thats what I'm thinking. I had a pointed post to push into the ground once, loaded 1500 lbs into the skid loader bucket and still couldn't push it through my clay soil, even with a light hammering action. I have a Shaver HD-10 now which provides over 71,000 lbs of force and it still impresses me how strong the soil is.

bcp, that's a pretty profitable enterprise you're getting into. I've been at it for several years, but I have a little different approach. I watch for abandoned oil wells--you can get them very inexpensively--some even for free. Just cut them up into various lengths, box them up, and away you go. You can usually get about $30 for a box of 6.
