I never thought of turning them so they are "sideways" I'll give it a try!!
I've never quite understood the "it'll be worth more when you sell it" argument. But then, I've never kept a new car or truck less than 10 years and tractors are more or less permanent for me.
Your mirrors brackets are different then mine. I can't go in any farther with my mirrors because the loader will hit them.Eddie, I was going down the road today and thought about you, and my mirror orientation...
The left mirror I just swung over, and rotated the mirror to focus. (From the photo it really looks like my post where the fire extinguisher is mounted blocks my view...but that's just the camera angle. I can see behind me fine.)
The right mirror I took off and moved to the other side of the exhaust pipe and refastened it, then focused it. Been doing heavy shredding in and around trees every day, and those mirrors are still pointed the direction I aimed them.
