You Know You Are Old When

Last high school reunion I went to I noticed the same thing, how many of the girls we considered hot in school didn't look so great 40 years later. Best looking women there were mostly the ones you hardly noticed back then.

When Ma was in the hospital for the last time one of her nurses was a former classmate.
We were mid 40s by then and she was gorgeous for her age.
I remembered her from High School being kinda geekie hanging around with her short plump friend.
She told me they both had crushes on me but I had my head up my ass chasing the class princess.
After Ma passed we went out for coffee just to talk and she brought her friend, they're both married.
Man did I miss the target.
The Princess was chasing college guys and didn't give a darn about us High School boys.
These two turned into beautiful flowers when they got out of the shade.

I've seen some great body art over the years. Very attractive. I've also seen some really bad body art over the years.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

Also in how well the body ages.

Either that, or their looks are natural whereas those we thought were hot worked hard to look so good.

Every work day I see plastic surgery patients check in...

Most by any measure would be considered attractive to very attractive.

Most are early 20's to 35 age range.

I can't help but wonder what happens when it all catches up with them in later years?

I could be wrong but it seems that women who were heavy makeup don't age as well as those who forego it.

I only went to my 20th high school reunion. The pattern I noticed was that the girls that were downright skinny in high school tended to naturally maintain their figure into middle age.

The girls that were not fat, but curvy, in high school seemed to keep growing and growing.
