When you confuse Milli Vanilli with Vanilla Ice.
Both hit peak popularity about 35 years ago, with more in common than you'd think. I was never a fan of either, but being an MTV watcher in my late-teens at the time, they were unavoidable.

Both are good examples of guys who had their careers ruined by letting record executives push them around. Milli Vanilli for allowing their management to convince them to lip sync their live performances, and Vanilla Ice for following his management's advice to deny sampling the Bowie/Queen Under Pressure riff, to avoid having to pay royalties on it.

I really don't know much about Milli Vanilli, I hear they really were terrible singers, but wasn't a fan so I guess I don't really know. Vanilla Ice started doing a home improvement show about ten years ago, and I caught some bits of it, wasn't terrible. Seemed like a good guy who just got all the wrong advice as a teen performer.

I keep these things called "pencils" and what we call "paper". Very useful. And they work without batteries.
My wife and I share a notepad note on our iphones for a grocery list. We both add to it whenever we think of something. If we don't, we'll forget it later. 😛

Same. But training my wife to actually look at the list has been somewhat of an uphill battle.

I just keep adding:
Cookies
Milk
Cookies
Milk
Cookies
Snack cakes

Eventually they show up in the pantry and fridge. 😛

We simply go up & down each isle and buy more than we need then back home discover we forgot the milk.
We used to have a list then leave it at home on the coffee table which reminds me I need coffee.

The last time I bought coffee it was so expensive that I'm thinking about dumping it in Boston Harbor and drinking tea.
