I've been saving the Schnutz twins and their cousin Tater Head from drowning long as I can remember.
I couldn't have been old since I was 13.

I eat 24 g of 86% Ghirardelli dark chocolate every morning, it cuts my essential tremors by half. Also, the only one that doesn't have any heavy metals in it.
I eat a small amount of 100% dark chocolate every few days and the doctors tell me it's a good idea.

"Flavinoids" in quality chocolate are good for you. I make up a trail mix of peanuts, walnuts, cashews and raisins, and pistachios when I can find them. I then smash up a bar of unsweetened chocolate and add it to the mix. I don't even notice the bitter flavor mingling with the nuts.

So about 35 years ago, a study came out that said dark chocolate was good for you. So I went to the local Osco and bought 30 quarter pound bars of Cadbury Royal Dark, and ate one every day for a month. Amazing that you can gain about 20 pounds by consuming 7.5 pounds of chocolate in a month. :ROFLMAO:

As you get into your senior years you notice you are getting forgetful and start worrying about getting Alzheimer's

So for all you old farts, next time you loose your keys think about this and relax.

The difference between dementia and Alzheimer's, with dementia you forget where put your keys, with Alzheimer's you don't know you have any keys.
I have ADHD, severe ADHD. I can hardly wait until my inability to remember why I opened turned on my computer and opened the browser, or why I walked in the bathroom, gets worse as I age.

With 100% dark, or really any chocolate, you want to avoid "alkyd" or "Dutch Process" chocolate. I've read that these processes, while they make the chocolate taste better, are said to add more bad saturated fat and that's not good for the heart. You almost have to buy organic chocolate but there is plenty sold and I've found the best choices at Walmart.

Another good thing that helps is a spoonful of almond butter every day. It's just ground up almonds in a jar but it can help your good cholesterol. Mine improved a lot and I buy at Costco. It does settle in the jar before use so read my attached thread on how to mix peanut butter in 30 seconds. It's much better this way and almond butter mixes quick.
