I don't know about being the coolest, but they are The Greatest Generation. My father was of that era, and he deserved the title. It didn't matter WHAT life threw at him, he would just do the next right thing, and make the best of it.Maybe. My grandfather was entering his first apprenticeship at age 13 when the stock market collapsed and began the Great Depression, and thus a perfect draft-age 22 when WW2 started. I wonder if he really felt this way?![]()
