TBN does make people spend money......

Further inspecting the tasks at hand, I realized something like the MS200 was going to be required earlier than, and perhaps moreso than the 361 - but some things just required a larger bar than it could handle...and didn't see the old Craftsman up to the task.....so I thought perhaps I'd get a discount buying both.

Fired up a MS200 [straight not the 200T] and the wife fell in love with it: "the keeper of finances" satisfied, less work for me, and I told her that we could call his&her chainsaws our aniversary present (we both got busy and forgot this presents year - a first for either)!! :D

I'm very pleased with Ron's Saws in Watertown, SD. They know their tools, have logs to test them out right there, and they did treat us well enough that I bought both [I was seriously considering pushing the old Craftsman to its death, if buying two saws didn't get some discount]. Essentially, got a case [which may well be the one Stihl item I think is well overpriced anyway - not sure why so expensive] and spare chain for each with the deal; depending on the price list, we may also have gotten the 24" and 16" bars for closer to the price of buying the saws as 20" and 14".

RSC chain on the 24. PM on the 16"; was going to get safety on that, but since I specified RSC for the other one he presumed I wanted similar and I thought it might make sense so I didn't have him change it.

I'll have to post a review and some pictures in a few days; does anyone remember the post on file recommendations and advice? Or perhaps have advice?

My 020T and 066 are both tempermental starting. My older 024 is reliable. I tried the 'pull the sparkplug' routine several times on the 066 when it wouldn't fire and seemed flooded. Now this technique works better:
Unless it's real cold I don't wait for firing, I lock throttle and choke, then immediately release the choke and pull a few times and it usually starts. If real cold I use one or two pulls on choke then release and pull till firing. 020T starts faster this way too, stay off the choke.
