I've seen some that say they meet Kubota UDT requirements, but not Super UDT. I'd be careful and read the spec's closely.

I also use the Universal Tractor Fluid from Sam's Club. It is specified as being a UDT equivalent. It is not a Super UDT equivalent, but so what? I just live with the extra 1-second delay when I shift into "go" for the 30 seconds it takes to warm the fluid when it's cold out.

on my L2800 they changed the motor oil at 50 hours cost $125 for that and to check everything. they changed everything at 500 hours witch came to the total of $1300. i would have done it myself but its my fathers and my tractor and i was away and he got it done and then wanted me to pay half. i wasnt happy.

I see that you have the GST transmission. I've been brainwashed into being scared to death to use anything but SUDT in the HST trans. That unfortunately seems to only be avaiable from Kubota at a very high price.

That's marketing for you. Without "scared" then insurance companies, HMOs, car companies (crash safety), etc., etc. would lose money. I've been told enough horror stories by my Kubota dealer that I'm deaf to them now.
So many people on TBN use non-Kubota oils that if there was a problem with them there would be screaming all over this forum.
There is even an "Oil, Fuel, & Lubricants" section of TBN if you really want to delve into it.
