my favorite has to be a Winchester model 1890
...this is a .22 (short only) pump rifle with an octagon barrel...it is deadly accurate with only the original iron sights...
also know as a "gallery gun" as similar rifles were used on carnival midway shooting galleries
my grandfather won this rifle on a .25 cent punchboard...
You beat me to this one. I have the same gun and love it. I didn't know about the "Gallery Gun" part. Thanks for putting that out. This gun is my first choice for varmets inside the buildings. For things a little futrhur out I like my Ruger 25-06.
