Philly ain't too far at all. May have to check that out. Course I say that a lot. I think one of those would be great for use as a farm truck, backup/yard tractor, and for takin equipment to tractor pulls.

The first three are of our 2005 GMC 3500 Duramax/Allson 4x4 and the last one is of our 2004 Ford F-350 diesel, auto, 4x4. I don't have any pictures of the ford towing right now. We also have a Ford Excursion diesel, auto, 4x4 and a 33' travel trailer than we tow and I don't have any pictures of it either.

Thanks for the info, I was on my iPod when I responded last, so I didn't notice you were somewhat near me. I live in southern MD just north of Waldorf.

hehehe:laughing: Driving them both they are both good trucks. The ford has a smiggen more leg room in the back and does a little better in the pasture cause it has 305 tires that are slightly more aggressive. The GMC on the other hand, is definitely more powerful, handles two yards of gravel in the bed slightly better, and gets better mileage. Overall they are both good trucks and do what we need them to.

P.S. both of them would be better if they had tail gates that didn't bend/dent so easly.

Kyle,
I know exactly where you are. I know quite a few folks that live out that way. If you are looking for a military truck, Brandywine trucks, near the intersection of 301 and 5 (I think) has several deuces and ,last time I was out there, had an M818 5 ton tractor on the lot. They were asking $9500 for the 5 ton. I am not sure what the 2.5 tons were going for. But, he had several. They all looked to be in great shape. I know the 5 ton was.

Yep, we're about a 5 minute drive from there. And I always stare when I drive by. Definitely some trucks there, and while I was somewhat overlooking it when I stated I wish there were more, I was more leaning to the private sellers. But it definitely reminded me that I should check it out. Thanks.

RoMad, what sort of grates are those that you have on your tractor's three point? Looks like you use them to level dirt. How well does it work?
