That is some true powerstroke **** right there... real eye candy for a die-hard PSD guy!

What was the demise of the previous motor?

hey greg - the orginal while it ran well had 330k on it compression was down a bit, it had some oil leaks, but the main kick was it was leaking coolant between the block and the front cover. to reseal it the motor has to come out. so with 330K on it I decided to get a reman long block and put that in

I don’t have a picture with it down, I’m a little OCD so I have 4x4’s cut the width of the trailer with 1x on each end as uprights to hold them in the stake pockets or the rub rail. I dropped one of those in the front area of the dovetail, put the hoe bucket on it and used a ratchet strap to secure it. Still plenty of room on her.
It will be awhile till I load her up again but when I do I’ll get a picture up with the hoe secured.
I use my 4x4 set up under most implements, they are also great when I load logs on the trailer, helps keep the deck from getting beat up.

So as you can see I have the bucket tilted back, I threw a strap on it and then dropped the hoe and strapped it. In this configuration it’s a bit shorter (with the bucket tilted back some), so you got me thinking and I went out and laid the bucket flat and put the hoe down and she measured 23’, still 2’ short of my 25’ trailer.

Cool thing about the wedge ramps is I could fold them down and put the hoe between them block it up witha 4x4’s across the ramps, or fold the ramps upright and lay it on the dovetail (of course I would put one of my 4x4’s down).

I always tell people if you buy a tractor and plan to have any implements a 25’ trailer is a must, even more so if you want a cutter which most people do.

That’s the same length as my Big Tex. You could load a compact tractor with a cutter on a 5’ shorter trailer as long as the ramps pin straight up. I like my 20+5 though. I wouldn’t want any longer because it’s already hard enough to get around. I hauled my L3240 with a backhoe and loader or my L3800 with a 5’ cutter and loader on my 15+5 trailer. A 18’ flat deck is really pushing it.

Here's mine. Not as fancy as some on here  09 GMC Sierra, with my 16ft dove tail landscape trailer. Had to run over to pops house today to do some brush hogging.

Here's my setup:
11' F350, 14x7 14k PJ dump trailer and 22ft 14k split tilt 6/16 PJ tilt deck trailer.
I wanted diversity with both trailers and certainly got it. The tilt deck also has under the deck fork rails for the skid steer forks and a winch plate and roller on the deck for all my friends that like to haul non running rigs
And yes, I need air bags for the F350 bad
