Dang!Paid $5,800 for it. I looked the same trailer up ... last week and... base starting price is over $9K
Yep, not the best time to be in the market for a trailer or anything that requires a lot of steel for sure, yet here I am considering buying a 25+5 GN.I bought this Kaufman 24' gooseneck new in 2017, paid extra for blue paint, double jacks, springs on the ramps, and American tires with a spare. Paid $5,800 for it. I looked the same trailer up on their website last week and the base starting price is over $9K
The interest rates are going up; hopefully will stabilize some of this price inflation. This is not sustainable, something is going to give.
Too much, to fast.
Will be an even worse "double whammy". You must not remember the Jimmy Carter days. The interest rates are going up; hopefully will stabilize some of this price inflation.
I sure do remember those days: my first home mortgage was 10% interest during the Reagan years (things didn’t change fast even when Carter’s term was up). Ridiculously low interest rates is facilitating extremely high housing costs and other inflation. Bumping up the interest rates a few percentages will slow down price increases. We sure don’t need 10% mortgages anymore though. Will be an even worse "double whammy". You must not remember the Jimmy Carter days.
