The 3 series controls are certainly on the edge, but which? I am curious what owners with some seat time think.

The display seems really useful. Is it in real life. I think the maintenance reminders are a nice touch.

Loader controls?: A-B range, the 3rd function, and the power boost. How is the float and fast dump?

How do you like the reverser lever under heavy back and forth?

What do you really love, and what could be improved?
How does it seem to compare with competitive systems?

TIA

I really feel that the CUT marketplace is SO fragmented - It is pretty hard to even carry on a conversation here at TBN

Yep, I would also be interested hearing from someone with real life experience using a new Yanmar YT3 series tractor.

I believe only a very small fraction of CUT even know of TBN and only a portion of those that do frequent this site actually participate in discussions. And Yanmar tractor owners are even rarer compared to other make CUTs.

Here is some information about YouTube videos where users of YT3 Yanmar tractors are showing the tractors being used in their various enterprises.

One of these people is on TBN -- http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/members/salix56.html.

In addition to a few posts with photos on TBN, Salix56 has some videos on YouTube that involve using the YT359:
Small-Scale Haymaking with a Compact Tractor - YouTube
All About Rotary Cutters - YouTube
Safely Moving Round Bales (Video) - YouTube
Easy Upkeep for Your Country Lane - YouTube

Another YouTube source of Yanmar YT3 user experience is one that some on TBN probably know well --- Wranglerstar:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMIjEnXruVHtvgSVf6TgfUg

One Wranglerstar video of particular interest to people interested in the Yanmar YT3 tractors is one that appears to be off the main display of Wranglerstar videos:
"Watch This Video Before Buying A Tractor..." https://youtu.be/APjOBP1FhX8

Wranglerstar has posted more than 2 dozen videos with anywhere with from a little to a lot of YT359 tractor content. A couple of examples of Wranglerstar videos with a significant amount of tractor-in-use content are:

and

One more YouTube channel with videos about YT3 tractor use is Complete Deer TV.
A Complete Deer TV video that has some detail on YT3 controls is:

I have a new YT359 with 50 hours seat time on it I am getting used to all the functions, the A B mode is very useful. Display is very nice, the interior of the cab is just plain awesome, everything is laid out well, very comfortable.

What about the forwar/reverse lever? Trying it at the dealer's lot is one thing; after using it a while - does it work well and feel like it will hold up? I had a reverser years ago but have been using a Deere dual pedal hydro for a long time.

The lever is very easy to use, just one finger to go back and forth. It does get a lot of use, I'm not sure what the switching internals are like, but I guess time will tell.
