YT359 Optional 3rd Function

Considering a YT359, and I notice that the 3rd function on the joystick is only one button. Does this really mean it is a diverter valve rather than an independent 3rd function? Otherwise how to you change the flow direction (open/close for a grapple for example). If it is a diverter valve, which function do you lose when pressing the button?

I added the Yanmar third function on my new YM347 for use with the grapple. Single button. Press/hold the button and it diverts flow from the curl/dump features to open/close the grapple. I would say its an electric diverter valve.

It is live and not a diverter type. It has a two-button switch that activates a dual-port cylinder. I installed it on my Kubota B21, and it works well.
