YT48XLS with some issues

In my case, having 1 of each type decks, the stamped deck cuts much more smoothly than the fabricated deck. On the other hand, the stamped deck, being much thinner metal, is developing a hole or two.

The fabricated deck, 11 ga steel is much more suited to very heavy duty cutting such as brush and heavy weeds. Add rocks to that

Yes we have mowed a few Ozark rocks here on the hill. The fabricated deck is tough for sure the center spindle bent this summer and I replaced it.

If a guy wanted to invest the time and effort I think 4 crazy wheels and heavy mounts from a 3 point finish mower would help...... we will probably find a zero turn next spring to replace it with....
