ZD1011 Another Kubota to the lineup!

After alot of research, I pulled the trigger on the ZD1011-54. Added the maintenance lift and will be ordering the chute blocker. This thing is a beast compared to the Badboy I owned. Even though I'm smaller in width (54 vs 60) I will more than make up the time because of speed and power. This lil 3 cyl diesel was well worth the money. I mowed my entire yard today that would normally take around 4-5 gallons on the 27 hp Kawasaki Badboy and finished up with 3/4 tank left on the Kubota. That's impressive!

Had a lil issue with the PTO engagement not moving freely and shutting off, but dealer will be addressing that next week. Minor issue and hope it's the only one.

Sweet ride. I have a front deck Grasshopper and love it except for the gas consumption. Its replacement will be diesel.

I have a kubota ZG 227 gas with the 54 inch deck, quality machine, would of loved the diesel as well but couldn't justify it for the size of my yard.

I have mower envy.

I also can't justify the price of the diesel, even if it uses 1/3 the fuel that's a lot of mowing to make up for it. But the deck and wheels will rust off and the diesel will still be running.
