This is a tool to clean out your zerks

I have one, but never used it. Back when I was working I could have used one, sometimes when my Crane was in the shop

and I had a spare out, there was a couple of zerks that the lazy operators wouldn't grease.

What I've learned from this forum is to stay away from the clay based grease. I use moly grease and grease when the

zerk require it.

I've had one in my shop for many years, used it a few times. It always cleared the clogged zerk fitting. It works.

16 minutes of video to show us that the tool doesn't work. That fact alone is enough to get me to question the guys intelligence.

I find that often if you take the weight off of the joint, ie. in this case lift the tires off of the ground. That's enough to let grease into the fitting

If he would have thought his way through the problem, there's a real good chance that the tool would have worked.

Just a thought but maybe you could apply heat and soften up the clog before using the tool?
IDK for sure, but me thinks that might help.

Have one as well, but I made my own in the shop. I rarely use mine simply because I only grease with non clay based grease which never hardens in a fitting and is easier to clean up as well.

If I have a questionable fitting, I just replace it with a new one. Have plenty of SAE as well as Metric fittings on hand.

Agreed. I make it a point to locate and service all zerks on all of my equipment regularly.
A habit I developed while operating for a grading contractor who insisted I start the tractor and get off and grease every fitting every day before starting work. Admittedly a little excessive but his belief that grease was a lot cheaper than repairs is true. And it gave the machine a few minutes to warm up before operation.
