Dont use ethanol and correct me if i am wrong but our petrol over here has a Higher octane rating then in the USA. So it should run cleaner and more efficient and i presume that would be better for an engine?

Higher octane equals a less volatile fuel suitable for use in higher compression engines. Higher octane fuel reduces predetonation.

Well I have bought the ZG327. Its just so much nicer and comfortable to operate compared the the 200 series. Its not overpowered but still ok with the 27HP on a 60" deck. Overall very happy so far after 1 hour of mowing, I hope the next 999 are the same.

Those traits, while uncommon, can lead to burned exhaust valves and higher than normal exhaust temps (incomplete combustion or fuel burning in exhaust) in worn engines where the timing was retarded due to wear or misadjustment. My only point is that when running fuel outside of OEM recommendations, closer attention to tuning is required.

You'll usually hear a little wristpin slap if your timing is retarded enough to burn the valves, though.

Im not sure,my stihl dealer told me to start using 91 octane in all my stihl tools, funny thing, though, I have a fs 85r line trimmer Ive used for a long time on ethanol based fuel,everything in Arkansas is 10%,and not had any trouble out of it.But the little ms 210 saw hates the stuff. LUTT
