zMax What is It???

I agree with the general consensus that additives are bad.
Slick 50 is a big NO NO .

But what about zMax???

Some have said that all it is is mineral oil with color added.

On a wim I ordered some of this stuff. I still have a package in the basement. It is still has its color(Clear, Pink, Purple).
One for fuel, one for Transmission, and one for Engine oil.
Looking through my garage I found a set of these zMax bottles unopened but a strange thing has happened to the contents inside. All the color has gone. They are all clear. What gives??? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Why would temperature changes of the seasons over the course of a couple of years cause the color to disappear? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It has "LinKite" in it and has been used by the "Aviation Industry" for many years.

Does anyone know what the properties of this stuff are? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I know it's a lot of questions but that's what this site is for.

I know enough about zMAX to know I don't want/need to use it.
